Previously rules for Tournaments are use the Battle rules for "Mêlée" !
Now with the new rule of Battle, is it the same ?

I think it could be evident to use the new rule because Tournaments are a fight training ! But I don't know if Greg has this idea when he makes Book of Battle...

This question appears 'cause I have a seance Friday evening and there are a Tournament in my scenario.

But how determine you the size of "Mêlée" (to have the start intensity) ? Only with the number of knights (without others warriors), I guess ?
