4 Sessions in, and I have two players express their love for Pendragon, having never played before. One naming it the best rules so far and another a very close second to his boleved CoC. This cheered me no end.
Just had to share :)

That echoes the sentiment of my players. I have a split of CoC/Pendragon lovers. Some don't play CoC purely because they prefer a medieval setting, but the good news for me is that they all play Pendragon.
I would guess you and I are roughly at the same point in the GPC.
sorry, but what CoC means ?

Call of Cthulhu, the role playing game

That or they are into some weird swingers role playing that we wouldn't want to know the details of.... ;D

Yes, Call of Cthulhu. I got tired of the weird swingers stuff.

Lol
Between sword lake and sword feast, I deviated slighlty to introduce a new squire while the PK's were Riding the Rounds. They came across a pair of Silchester Knights that had got lost and had abused the hospitality of a small village. When challenged to a duel they made one pass and carried on riding into the east. Unlucky for them, when they tried to go past the new Squire he deliverd a solid Axe blow to one causing a major wound and dismounting him. The fall finished off the Silchester knight. The other ran away, but will return soon as an advesary.
The earl was impressed by the actions of the quick thinking Squire and knighted him.
Next week: Sword feast.

Then coincidence dictates that we shall both be running the very same event at almost the exact same time as I too am about to run the sword feast. I'd be very interested to hear how your events pan out so, if you get the time, please document it.

Cool. Failing any mishaps, we'll be playing on Tuesday.
So far, I have been followings BigSteveUK's 3 courtly skills per Court session and ask the PC's what they want to do. However, for the last few sessions they have been trying hard to woo the heiresses. I think after becoming the centre of attention of the Royal Court and Merlin's thanks, the heiresses will be rolling some lustfuls.

Lustful?
Are they whores to entrap men, like the monks say?
Heiresses, eh? Let the liege see someone harassing his wards and he'll have cause to seize their lands, and then he'll throw those tarts into a nunnery.
A lady with a decent upbringing, and surely these daughters of knights have had such, will allow a knight to speak to her and, perhaps, won't be offended if he Flirts.
Count the pairs of eyes that watch every move--her caretakers the lord and lady, every possible suitor, and every woman at court who likes to gossip.
And your knight is going to show her his Lustful?
Besides, do they know that it doesn't matter one whit whether the girls love the knights or vice versa?
They have to convince the liege lord!

Indeed. Eloping and making the marriage a fait accompli only works when the heiresses aren't your lord's wards.
Now, if you want to seduce a Silchester heiress with lands near the border, Roderick would be most pleased I imagine.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding as I said things a bit tongue in cheek.
I have 3 Pagan Knights and a BC Squire. As a result I decided that all but one of the heiresses are Pagan. Since Lustful is a Pagan Virtue I am not taking the view that they are trollops, but that they are women who are self assured and know what they want. In fact one is a shameless hussy.
I have also decided that Earl Roderick is well disposed towards my Knights.
I don't know how long the campaign will last, and I doubt I'll see it to Arthur, nevermind the end.
So based on that, I want my players to enjoy it for now, and if they want an heiress, they shall have one after I've made them roleplay the whole wooing process and the audience with Roderick. So far so good.
