I have the Book of Battle and Book of Armies, however I ran the Battle of Meacred using the old system.
Next week, my PK's have chosen to do the Naval raids in 487 and will be using the army templates from the KAP5 book for ease.
Now one thing that the army templates don't have, is hit points.
During our battle I decided that they have a major wound level the same as their skill, to better described whther the PK's had a kill or not.
I will be doing the skirmishing rules and it states one battle round with several (1D6) melee rounds. For this kind of combat, I was thinking of allocating hit points in the same manner.
Am I doing it right, or are hit points not really needed for the skirmish?
Cheers
Damon
