Please, allow me to apologize in advance, my questions are not technically rule questions. I recently purchased both 5E and the GPC and am looking to run either a FtF or an online campaign. Two problems, I haven't GM'd in about 20 years and I'm not sure how well GPC would play over Maptools or OpenRPG and Skype.

Another question, I would be interested in the 4 other books that are no longer in print, would they become availble in .pdf via Nocturnal in the near future?

Any advice and/or answers would be greatly appreciated and welcome. Additionally, if anyone is running an evening online campaign, I'd like to sit in on a couple of sessions if permissable (possibly stay longer to if schedule would permit). EDIT - I am on Eastern Standard time.
Thanks,

John

Combat in KAP isn't as complex or movement-based as other systems like D&D. I'm playing in a forums-based game right now, and it's working great. I don't think you'd need Maptools at all, just Skype and a die-roller.

Though if you do want to try it in maptools, i'd be interested in giving it a try (usual caveats: if slot is available, if time permits)

You mentioned evening play: you'd have to say where in the world you are...

Regarding the books: we don't know yet what Nocturnal's plans are. I hope PDF versions will be available, but it's all speculation at this point. Nocturanl has to get the main book out, and make enough money to stay in business, first.

Thanks for the responses.

Yeah I guess that helps. I'll edit my post to say that I am EST.

I do like the abstraction but was planning on using Maptools to upload maps and pictures and such. I know there is a wiki out there and maybe I could use Google docs or something to share info.
