I haven't fully fleshed out what the entire Adventure would be, but the basics are this:
It's one of the last couple of years of the Anarchy Period. The knights are sent to meet a very young knight named Sir Kay to discuss a possible alliance between his lord and the countess to resist the Saxons. Along the way, they come across an oddly dressed man and woman running for their lives from a pack of redcaps and boggarts. The player knights presumably rescue the man and woman, who are presumably commoners (possibly merchants?). The man claims to be a "Doctor," which is apparently some sort of chirurgeon. The woman is uncommonly bold in her manner for a woman. The man asks to follow the knights. If they say yes, he goes with them. If they say no, he turns up later anyway.
The knights meet up with Kay, who is tending his wounds. He has no squire. He explains that he was attacked by boggarts who were relatively easily dispatched, but not before capturing his squire. The Doctor asks pointed questions about the squire, as if he knows that the squire is Arthur and will be King. He insists that the knights must go rescue the squire.
The squire has been taken deep into the woods to a faerie circle where Old Red Cap is holding a feast. He has the squire and a pair of damosels tied to large stones. If the knights hide and spy on the faeries, they learn that Old Red Cap intends to sell the squire to King Sauvage and eat the damosels for dessert. The Doctor's companion is quite sneaky and will try to sneak over to release the captives while the knights presumably ride into battle. The Doctor sets up a contraption of some sort that stuns Old Red Cap and holds him in place long enough for the knights to ride in and fight the other redcaps and boggarts. He can't perform the exorcism to kill Old Red Cap, but once the knights leave the faerie circle, he can cause his contraption to explode, knocking Old Red Cap out long enough for the knights to escape with Arthur and the damosels.
The Doctor is able to remove the elfstone from Arthur (and anyone else who might have one). He seems very excited to meet Arthur and pays little attention to anyone else once he's been rescued. The Doctor and his companion leave the knights after this. If the knights insist on following the Doctor and his companion, the knights will see them come to a village, enter a strange blue outhouse, and disappear.
