No questions. Just fyi.

We finished the Uther Period last Tuesday since we started in the new year. I have had to rush a few things along the way,but everyone had fun.

All in all I had 2 deaths and a retirement in the last session.

One player died gloriously in battle in the battle of St Albans.
One player usurped the Countess and appointed himself Steward until Robert comes of age. Now effectively retired.
Another player objected to this, and after Dueling with the ursurper, losing and refusing to swear allegiance, was killed right there and then.

All in all it was a great climax to the uther years with plenty of drama within the player interactions.

We'll start again in August / September with the Anarchy phase.

These things need announcing! Sounds like an electric end to the Period, especially the duel. Hope you have as much fun in the Anarchy Period.

That does sound like an awesome end to the period.

Retired?

This is the Anarchy. He'll be getting more Glory than ever if your group is anything like mine.

Then again, if your group is anything like mine, and you're not a GM like I was, it'll probably be The Time Of The TPK.

Yes retired. Looking after Salisbury will be a full time job, and not only because should he be away for more than a few days, God only knows what would await him on his return.

It also fits in with the rest of the group who'll be starting with the spare characters.

I intend to make the Anarchy period as hard as possible and show my characters why they hate Saxons so much. If I time it well, Arthur will come into the picture just when the situation becomes desperate.

Sounds awesome! Congrats on a campaign I think I may envy! I've always loved the Anarchy period myself, perhaps because the actual Anarchy in England is my favourite period in Medieval history. I find the reign of Stephen of Blois quite compelling. When you add saxon invasions into the mix of warlords striving for power it just gets better! I look forward to your restart and hearing how it developes. Good luck!
