As a side note here -
Please don't do side notes.
Always start a new thread.
Otherwise it gets lost because I am not going to reread every thread to find one thing like this.
what is the situation with King Cadwy of Somerset? I have Somerset as a separate kingdom, not part of Logres, although I assumed it did become part of Logres after Uther visits in 488. Regardless of that error, if Somerset does at some point become part of Logres does King Cadwy then lose his title and become an earl?
No, he would not lose it. He is still the King of Somerset. He does not necessarily get the title (or powers) of a count--he has the equivalent already as king.
It is not about what someone is called, it is about the power the yield and who they have paid homage to--homage is possible ONLY to one lord.)
