I've got some photos of the escarpment near Westbury around Bratton Camp if that's of any use.... Let me know if you want them and what I should do with them.

Yes, of course.
The pictures of it are useful if you can tell me, more or less, where the shot is taken from, and which way it is looking.
Otherwise they are nice photos, but not not as useful as I would like.

OK well I know where these photos were taken as I was there....
I've attached a few shrunken samples, let me know if you want full size versions.
The first (77) is taken from South of the Westbury Horse looking north. There rings of Bratton Camp start just above the horse. The second (81) is taken from near the Horse and looking south along the western edge of Salisbury Plain. The third (84) is me walking east along the edge of Bratton Camp just before the ditches do the sharp turn to the SE. So I'm looking east along the northern edge of the plain. The final one is looking up at the horse from the west along the B3098. I've got a few more photos on top of the Camp but those ones probably show the actual escarpment the best.

You can get pretty good views of a lot of places in Google Earth - a program that uses satellite data.

Do you want better quality photos? I shrunk them somewhat severely so they didn't take up too much bandwidth for those not interested and in case they weren't what you were after.

Those were just fine for me.
I am simply asking about a different part of the scarp.
I believe all yours were from near Westbury, in the west.

Yes all my photos are from the west so I can't help out.
