I finally got up the 495 journal session for our table-top game. It was a blood bath. You can see all the journal sessions for this game here:

We've now played through the entirety of the Uther Period. You may find the journal interesting because it uses the GPC as a basis but plays in Hertford instead of Salisbury. I'm a player in another, online GPC-based campaign set in Salisbury. The player knights and NPCs from the online campaign occasionally make cameo appearances in the table-top game noted above, which is fun for me even though the other players generally don't get the reference.

Stunning site! I wish I had done something like this (it's a Jagent campaing), but I just finished year 540 ...

It shows.

Running PGC campaign requires "the heart and stomach of a concrete elephant". If you want it to be good, at least. All those NPCs, all those site descriptions, all that foreshadowing ...

To run a website at the same time ... it's impressive. Kudos.

You really do have a nice site going there. I see Rhodri as one of the crossover characters; are there any others?

I sure wish I could write like you do. You add a lot to the games you play.

Bravo and long live our Pendragon campaigns!

He's also an extremely prolific player in my http://russelldeneault.com/gpc/tiki-index.php?page=HomePage"]online (http://"[url) game[/url]. Mr. ewidle is an animal!

The Rhodri in Hertford (my table top group) is different than the Rhodri in Salisbury (Russ' online group.) Though the player of Rhodri in Salisbury is on the table top group (he's Rhys in Hertford.)

Confusing? This game is nothing more than a violent soap opera! ;D

I'm really interested in this because I actually live in Hertfordshire (just a couple of miles from where the Roman Road crossed the River Lea at Ware) and I'm wondering if your version of Hertfordshire is based upon any research that you've done or a fantasy version. If you've done any research I'd love to hear about it.

Its fantasy based. There are a few references to actual places; but, for the most part we don't care at all about historical accuracy.

Nice journal.

What software did you use to create the maps ?

And I'm just down the road from Oly near Broxbourne in a place called Wormley, and would also be interested! Incidentally Oly, PM sent - great to hear of other local Pendragon gamers!

Incidentally, Wormley has potential for a Pendragon game.. Just looked up the name meaning according to the Institute for Name Studies (http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/~aezins//kepn.php) it means:

'Snake wood/clearing'.
OE wyrm, OE leah

Scope there surely.

I guess if you don't like snakes that could also be taken to mean Wyrm, Dragon etc.

I think that's the prettiest wikidot site I've seen. Very nice, and the content is fun too. Particularly like the legend of Voracious Maw.

Excellent chronicle of your campaign. A small aside regarding the Cymric language: ap = "son of" while ferch = "daughter of". Thus, Sir Morial's niece should be Elwyn ferch John.

Thanks for the input. That's good to know, though I doubt we'll change in the game.

Our game has continued apace since the last update to the wiki page. Keeping up the page is just too much effort.
