A quick question regarding these passions.

Hospitality: Does this only apply to personal Hospitality or can it be used anytime? Eg a knight is at court, and the feast is in full swing, when another knight grabs a sword and attacks someone he's been arguing with. Can I invoke my Hospitality passion in response to the aggressor knight's violation of Hospitality laws even though it's not *my* Hospitality he's insulting?

Honour. Does this only apply to personal Honour and challenges against it? Eg, if I see another knight acting in a dishonourable way (but not directly towards me) would a 16+ Honour force me to intervene or not? Or would I simply look down upon the uncouth and move on? Could I choose to invoke my Honour passion under such circumstances?

Finally, say you're at a feast and you see another knight slap a serving maid or insult a lady. What trait or passion would be involved here? Is that Honour (which ties in with my question above), Hospitality, Just, Valourous?

Here is my take on your questions:

Hospitality: Does this only apply to personal Hospitality or can it be used anytime? Eg a knight is at court, and the feast is in full swing, when another knight grabs a sword and attacks someone he's been arguing with. Can I invoke my Hospitality passion in response to the aggressor knight's violation of Hospitality laws even though it's not *my* Hospitality he's insulting?

Yes. He is insulting the rules of Hospitality in general and it is offending to anyone who has a Hospitality passion.

In this case I would say you simply look down upon the uncouth as Honour is personal.

Finally, say you're at a feast and you see another knight slap a serving maid or insult a lady. What trait or passion would be involved here? Is that Honour (which ties in with my question above), Hospitality, Just, Valourous?

Hospitality and Just seem fair to use here. Not Honour (see my answer above). Valourous, only if intervening puts your knight in a dangerous situation.

That makes sense. I often wonder if I'm under using Honour in my game as, after 8 sessions, no one has ever invoked it. I let my players invoke an "Honour challenge" whereby they can say "on my honour I swear to defeat (insert opponent here)" but no one has ever used it that way because it's kind of do or die, and TBH I'm not even sure if that is allowable with Honour or not. I guess I'm slightly wary of having Honour used for everything.

Also I wonder about the application of a passion like Love(God), or Piety if you're now using that as a passion. On the face of it I could see this being invoked for everything "God give me strength to... kill this dragon, overcome my fear, defeat the black knight, do the dishes quickly" etc.
